Five Fingers Fight Club! The party had victories on the first night, so they needed to wait out the day in Five Fingers for the Main Group Event tonight. Several characters did their crafting and negotiation, and others went out into the town.
One of the encounters was with a familiar face. Lieutenant Ohmz was the officer in charge of the legitimate Tollbooth back in Cygnar. When the military dispatch was discovered to be missing, Ohmz remembered the last large party to go through. Investigating further, he found evidence at the battle site that the party may have been involved. For the moment, the party dodged him without anything more than a tense conversation.
Some conversations in embassies with individuals led to some information about the various factions looking for the Iron Cask. The Cryx have their own people looking, plus it seems there is another interested party who had hired the Gatormen to do some looking around. One of the items recovered from the Gatormen was apparently a contract. It was written in Gator, but does indicate another faction doing the hiring.
The actual Fight Club took place that night in a warehouse in the industrial docks district. This night was the large Group Melee, pitting all the major groups against each other. Points were kept for enemy brought down, crowd-pleasing spectacles, and other group efforts. Several party memebers opted not to fight, and instead hung out in the crowds, watching the people and making bets.
The fight itself had four groups in the party’s area. The party itself was listed as the Thrashers. The Panamon Kriel was across from them. To side was the team Heavy Metal which consisted of Warjacks and Marshalls. The other side was held by GobberTeam, a mass of Gobbers working together.
The party mostly stayed in a group, with Bish and Hallyr acting as flankers. The two skirmishers kept most of the Gobber team tied up, with the help of part of the Kriel. Most of the party faced off against the Warjack team. There was much mayhem, including the party’s Trollkin two-handed throwing an enemy warjack on top of its marshall!
Just as the battle was coming to a head, the party members staying in the general crowd noticed a disturbance by the door. The City Guard was forming up to raid this illegal event! The party’s Menite delayed them with a well placed Wall of Fire across the door outside. Two party members were down by then (the two skirmishers had been overrun by Gobbers and bad dice), so the plan was to regroup, then find out what the rest of the teams and crowd were going to do.
Three XP for everyone! They are now up to fifteen Experience Points. Players got to add one point to a stat.
